Inaugural Zagreb Comedy Festival in English: Eleven days of laughter!

Dear residents and visitors to Zagreb, get ready for 12 days of non-stop laughter, as Zagreb hosts its first-ever Zagreb Comedy Festival in English - from July 6th to July 17th!
Every evening at 9 PM at Crni Mačak (Mesnička ulica 12), join us for an unforgettable evening of side-splitting humor, featuring five renowned headliners who are set to light up the stage with their unique comedic styles, as well as various other feature shows filled with local and traveling up-and-coming talent.

Meet the Headliners:

Pedja Bajović - post-Yugoslav comedy sensation, on his quest to become the first and only one to perform in every European country, he's performed in over 50 countries during his 20 year long comedy journey, including the prestigious Seattle International Comedy Competition (2012) and the Funniest Person in the World (2016), as well as the inaugural World Comedy Expo in Chicago in 2022.

Anya Zova - Stand-up comedian, actress, and producer Anya Zova, after relocating to the United States to pursue her American dream, signed with WWE and began acting. Anya made her television debut on NBC's award-winning comedy Brooklyn Nine-Nine, and appeared on the hit CBS series MacGyver. She executive produced and acted in the TV pilot Wake Up, and stars in an upcoming music video with Ariana Grande. Anya is a creator of the stand-up comedy show for peace "Make Laughs Not War", which played in cult clubs such as The Comedy Store, Cobb's San Francisco, Carolines on Broadway NYC, La Jolla Comedy Store, Punch Line Philly and Hollywood Improv, as well as a part of the New York Comedy Festival.

Damjana Ellis - Made in Croatia, and tamed in Canada, Damjana is a sharp-witted storyteller with wild experiences from all over the world, who recently debuted her solo hour "Balkan Assassin", and toured Europe, from London to Berlin!

Sergej Lopouchanski - Finalist of HICKS Comedy-award 2019 and English Comedy Talent Award 2023, he's been a well sought-after compere and comic on the Belgian circuit for quite some time.

Igor Mondae - A seasoned international comedian, Igor brings his 10 years of comedic experience to the stage, with jokes from four sold-out European tours, two successful runs at the Edinburgh Fringe and Melbourne International Comedy Festival, and performances in over 20 countries and 30 cities worldwide
