For our 10th party, we have decided to invite once again our beloved alien techno queen to land in Zagreb - Ellen Allien 👽

As one of the most iconic artists of her generation, Ellen Allien embodies the core ethos of techno: a visionary who looks to future for inspiration, carving out her own niche and presiding over an empire that has infused techno, rave, and dance music culture with her unique DNA. Native Berliner, Ellen has been tapping into zeitgeist since the early 90s, always sounding fresh and surprising with her sets that fuse old-school bangers with cutting-edge production.

Ellen’s eternally creative mind has led to production of ten albums, to join her extensive back catalogue of singles, EPs and remix work for seminal labels like Warp and Mute. In her role as head of 2 labels, the legendary BPitch and UFO Inc., Ellen channels her ceaseless passion for digging into A&R, seeking out and nuturing new talent, alongside established artists and friends. She also runs her days long ‘We Are Not Alone’ raves at RSO in Berlin, bringing the party worldwide as UFO Rave, and she hosts in-store record shop event Vinylism.

Shortly after playing at our open air in June 2020, Ellen shared the first live recording from her balcony on Youtube, in which Miro Von Berlin appeared as background dancer.
Over the course of COVID lockdown period, Balcony Streamings have become a legend of its own, making them a recognisable duo which we are delighted to have at our celebratory GRAVE.

Besides distinct dance moves, Zagreb-born Miro Von Berlin is surfacing with groovy, energetic and playful sets, taking the audience on a ride through interdimensional frequencies. With several streamings from Berlin’s well-known ‘bathroom’ Hör, and regular gigs around town, including RSO, About Blank, Ohm and Kitkat, Miro’s sonic signature has significantly evolved since our first party back in 2019, and is becoming recognized.
