Libraries in the Digital Age (LIDA) is a biennial international conference that focuses on the challenging and rapidly transforming nature of libraries and information systems and services. In recognition of today’s continually evolving online and mediated technological environment, “CHANGES” is this year’s theme. LIDA 2012 brings together researchers, educators, practitioners, and developers from all over the world in a forum for personal exchanges, discussions, and learning, made memorable by being held in an enchanting and beautiful city on the shore of the Adriatic Sea.

Important dates

Papers and posters: an extended abstract due 15 February 2012.
For accepted full papers and poster summary in final form for Proceedings by 1 May 2012.
Workshops: a short proposal 10 February 2012.
Demonstrations a proposal by 1 March 2012.
PhD Forum: dissertation proposal or research description by 1 March 2012.

Participants with accepted papers/posters/workshops:
200 € (early) | 250 € (late/onsite)

Student Full Conference:
150 € (early) | 200 € (late/onsite)

Students with accepted papers/posters/workshops:
100 € (early) | 150 € (late/onsite)

Workshops: Two workshops are included in the Conference fee (one for students).


ASIST/EC Celebration programme is available for LIDA participants free of charge. For those who would like to attend only this programme (Friday, June 22) a fee of 50 Euros is required.

Visina naknade ponekad može ovisiti i o Entriovom komercijalnom dogovoru s Organizatorom događaja.

Naknada za izdavanje ulaznice je nepovratna naknada.
