The World Festival of Animated Film – Animafest Zagreb, established in 1972, is the second oldest film festival in the world completely dedicated to animation.
This year Zagreb will again become a global hub of animated film, 6-11 June, thanks to the 26th edition of World Festival of Animated Film – Animafest Zagreb. The only Croatian A-list festival will again confirm its animation festival ‘Grand Slam’ status (next to Annecy, Ottawa and Hiroshima) by bringing over 200 acclaimed filmmakers and over 300 films.

Svjetski festival animiranog filma - Animafest Zagreb, osnovan 1972. godine, drugi je najstariji filmski festival u potpunosti posvećen animaciji. Zagreb će i ove godine od 6. do 11. lipnja biti jedno od svjetskih filmskih središta, zahvaljujući 26. izdanju Svjetskog festivala animiranog filma - Animafesta Zagreb. Jedini hrvatski filmski festival A kategorije, svoj izniman status jednog od četiri animacijska 'Grand Slama' (uz Annecy, Ottawu i Hirošimu), potvrdit će i ove godine dovodeći u Hrvatsku više od 200 gostiju i preko 300 filmova.
