Smile - novi bend kreativnog dvojca Radioheada u Zagrebu otvara europsku turneju!
The Smile, novi bend kojeg čine Thom Yorke i Jonny Greenwood iz Radioheada i Tom Skinner iz Sons of Kemet upravo u Zagrebu otvaraju svoju premijernu europsku turneju koncertom koji će se održati 16. svibnja u Hali Zagreb. Hrvatska će tako postati polazišna točka turneje s preko 30 koncerata novog benda, koji je već svojim prvim singlovima i nastupima izazvao veliku pažnju, a njihov budući album je već proglašen ‘najiščekivanijim izdanjem godine’.
Yorke i Greenwood kreativna okosnica Radioheada jednog od najutjecajnijih bendova današnjice pozvali su u The Smile Toma Skinnera bubnjara benda Sons of Kemet čiji je prošlogodišnji album "Black To The Future" bio visoko na listama najboljih albuma 2021. godine.
Dugo već i hrvatska publika iščekuje koncert Radioheada na domaćem terenu, ali s obzirom na zvuk The Smilea, koji kritičari uspoređuju s opuštenijim i slobodnijim Radioheadom, a bend nazivaju “Radiohead u power trio formatu” ovo je jedinstvena prilika za doživjeti Yorkea i Greenwooda u live nastupu.
Prošlog su vikenda The Smile odsvirali tri uzastopna rasprodana koncerta uživo u rasponu od šesnaest sati, koji su istovremeno emitirani u stvarnom vremenu, putem live streama za publiku širom svijeta. Koncerti koji su održani u londonskom klubu Magazine te u filmski efektnoj režiji nagrađivanog Paula Dugdalea (The Rolling Stones, Adele, Paul McCartney), bili emitirani diljem svijeta već su proglašeni za sada glazbenim događajem godine, a kritika i publika ne prestaje nizati odlične kritike.
The Smile su nedavno objavili svoj drugi singl, The Smoke, koji je odmah dodan na A-listu BBC 6 Musica; a pjesma prati debitantski singl benda You Will Never Work In Television Again.

The Smile, the new group comprising Radiohead’s Thom Yorke and Jonny Greenwood and Sons Of Kemet’s Tom Skinner, have today announced details of their debut European tour for 2022.
The shows go on general sale on Friday 4th February at 11am CET.
The Smile recently released their second new single, The Smoke, which has been immediately added to BBC 6 Music’s A-list; the song follows the band’s debut single You Will Never Work In Television Again.
Last weekend The Smile played three consecutive sold out live shows across sixteen hours and three time-zones at Magazine, London. The three shows were simultaneously broadcast in real time, via livestream to a global audience.
