As we progress into spring / summer of 2019, tanzen brings you the 7th installment of your favorite new club program. For the first time ever in this region, a very special label, Get Physical, lands in Zagreb to present their magical and disrupting soundstage that has been constantly influencing and re-inventing the electronic music scene for the past 17 years.

Berlin-based electronic music record label founded in 2002 by M.A.N.D.Y., DJ T and Booka Shade. The name says it all: Get Physical tracks could hardly be more moving and corporeal.

This aspect of physicality also resurfaces on one of the labels key release: the always anticipated in-house DJ mix series "Body Language", featuring the likes of Dixon, DJ Hell, Azari & III, Catz ‘N Dogz, Francesco Tristano and of course label-founders and a string of double vinyl compilations called "Full Body Workout", brimming with new beats and sounds by up-and-coming talents.

On May 17, Djuma Soundsystem, Roland Leesker and Andrea Ljekaj from Get Physical will join the tanzen family. In the following weeks, we will introduce you thoroughly with these 3 greats that will set your dancing shoes on fire.

Djuma Soundsystem used to be a duo in the beginning, but Mikkas has been going solo for quite some years now. He has kept the trade mark sound, stretching between disco, house and techno, always on a clear focus on a deep feel with melodies and lots of room for emotions. His aim is to produce real songs without vocals, more than just dj tools and grooves. It's catchy, but still underground, and it can make a festival crowd go mad, as well as an intimate club.

Roland Leesker lives for and has loved electronic music since 1989 – the year of his debut as a House DJ on the Frankfurt bar scene. A measure of his quality is that just two years later he became the resident DJ in clubs like Wild Pitch, XS and Dorian Gray. Back then, like many DJs, by day you could find him working in a local vinyl shop, Derlirium Records, serving up tastemakers like Sven Väth, DJ T. and Laurent Garnier. In 1995 Roland left Frankfurt for New York City, where he would open the first international branch of Delirium Records. Thanks to that move he ended up playing with and producing artists that are legends today. Slaving away with Ricardo Villalobos in his living room, creating loops with John Selway at New York ́s Satellite basement, working as a Light Jockey for Marc Spoon, spinning together with Cajmere and ATA at the Wild Pitch Club, and all the while running various music businesses around the globe.

Andrea Ljekaj is a multi-award-winning producer and international DJ with releases on record labels Get Physical, Einmusika, Save Us and Selador. He is known for quality productions, such as highly successful Above Humans, Mantra and Filo releases, as well as other productions like his remix for Brian Cid, and a remix for Croatian diva Josipa Lisac, who is one of the greatest representatives of Croatian music art.

Andrea's music was spinning on BBC Radio, Boiler Room, Burning Man and also in the DJ sets of Joris Voorn, Laurent Garnier, Maceo Plex, Dubfire, Jamie Jones, Mandy, Eli & Fur, and Noir.

Marc Grabber is well known as a Valkana Beach Festival founder, MTV Networks Europe, Fort Bourguignon & Heineken event promoter back in the 2000s in Croatia. In house music trough production and remixes he collaborated with names such as Circulation, Molono.Bass, Rene Bourgeois, Marc DePulse, Just Her, Pete Gooding, Pete Fij (Adorable), Dzihan & Kamien, Chris Coco, Haris Custovich, Da Fresh, Andrea Ljekaj, Partito Jesus Comunista and toured across Europe and Russia for many years playing alongside many relevant names from the dj circle. Played as a opening dj for Deep Dish and Global Underground on several events and with most of the Global Underground artists at the time.

In house music he signed releases on labels such as 3000Grad, Endangered, Manual Music, Nightcolours, DNC Limited, Laus, Family Grooves, Ekstreme UK, Lovezone, Overload .. to name a few and lots of new releases to come..

Marc is now mostly producing music together with Bastian and Andrea Ljekaj. Beside house music Marc is also producing different styles of music with his band projects and touring constantly.. some of the highlights includes Lowlands festival, Boomtown festival, Exit festival etc.
