Sandra Halužan mlada je hrvatska jazz glazbenica. Godine 2020. okuplja eminentne hrvatske glazbenike u kvartet u kojem nastupa u ulozi pjevačice, saksofonistice, klarinetistice te autorice pjesama i aranžmana. Uz Sandru, kvartet čine Joe Kaplowitz na klavijaturama, Bojan Skočilić na kontrabasu te Antun Profeta na bubnjevima.

Premda izvode i jazz standarde te repertoar posvećen glazbi velike Nine Simone, njihov najnoviji projekt ujedno je i vrhunac njihovog rada. Riječ je o jazz i blues obradama autohtonih zagorskih skladbi koje su zabilježili na albumu Vu Plavem. Bogatim mezzosopranom Sandra na materinjem kajkavskom pjeva o mukama težaka, iskustvu rata, odlasku i vraćanju svojim korijenima i precima te ljubavi koja nadilazi mjesto i vrijeme.

Stare skladbe u novom se ruhu melodijskim linijama, ritmovima i zvukovima povezuju sa Sandrinom autorskom skladbom, u kojoj ona zaokružuje ovo glazbeno putovanje poniranjem do svoje biti. Slobodom izraza glazbenika i njihovom vještom međuigrom postiže se jedinstvena izvedba prožeta jazz, blues i folklornim elementima, no prije svega istinskom emocijom.
