Jedno od najvažnijih i najizvođenijih djela svjetske književnosti uzimamo kao polazište za istraživanje problema koji jednako intenzivno skandaliziraju i uznemiruju od praizvedbe teksta. Želimo ući u novo čitanje temeljnih pitanja koja otvaraju prostor za suvremene umjetničke perspektive. Namjera nam je istražiti motivaciju Nore u transformiranom društvenom kontekstu u kojem se otkrivaju novi mehanizmi pritisaka. Promjenom društvenih, političkih i ekonomskih okolnosti mijenja se i izvedbeni fokus priče o Nori. Prostori koji su se činili emancipatorski, kao proširenja slobode, ispostavljaju se kao regresivni.Koji su dometi pobune i mjesto slobode u visoko materijalističkom društvu? Kakav je odnos intimne i društvene represije? U što se Nora kao nagovještaj pobunjenog čovjeka pretvara kad je se uvede u suvremeni kontekst naoko brojnih izbora, a zapravo reduciranih mogućnosti? U kojoj mjeri nove društvene okolnosti mogu radikalizirati potrebu za promjenom?
