Projekt glazbenika Ivan Mrkocija - Mrve je nastao sredinom 2023. kao želja za dodatnom glazbenom ekspresijom mimo matičnog benda ''Šank?!''.

Kako se godinama nalazi unutar punk-rock glazbenog pravca, u ovom projektu je odlučio pristupiti melankoličnoj strani svojih pjesama i isporučiti album koji je više naginje klasičnijem rock usmjerenju uz svoj potpis.
Autor je svih pjesama na albumu, otpjevao ih je te odsvirao sve instrumente, osim bubnja gdje mu se priključila legenda zagrebačkog punka Danijel Plasajec - Plajo (Mikrofonija, Judette, Luxus Lord, Stare Pizde,...).
Snimanje i miks albuma je također odradio Mrva, a mastering Goran Martinac (Croatia Records).
Ime ''Mrva'' je odabrano iz razloga jer je planiran bio samo taj album i da tu projekt završi.
Snimljen je spot za pjesmu ''Šutnja'' te je zahvaljujući iznimno dobrim komentarima te nevjerovatnim entuzijazmom Plaje odlučeno da projekt zaživi kao bend i da cijela priča krene promotivnim koncertom.
Na drugoj gitari se priključuje Vilim Strejćek (Judette) te Nikola Mrkša (Stribog) na basu.
