U četvrtak 23.05. Zagrebu se vraća Mike Watt, ikona američkog nezavisnog rocka, u pratnji benda Il Sogno del Marinaio.
Kad čuješ ime Mike Watt, odmah ti treba onako guy-ritchievski proletiti kroz glavu s kim je sve svirao: Iggy Pop & The Stooges, Nirvana, Blue Oyster Cult, Sonic Youth, pa su tu Minutemen, fIREHOSE, Dos pa i s našim susjedima Bernays Propaganda.
Watt nam dolazi promovirajući projekt Il Sogno del Marinaio (u prijevodu ‘mornarev san’) s kojim je objavio već dva albuma - "La Busta Gialla" i "Canto Secondo", a u najavi je i treći "Canto Terzo".
Bend je osnovan 2009. godine u suradnji s gitaristom Stefanom Piliaom i bubnjarem Andreom Belfijem. Bend se svojim manje punk, a više prog rock i jazz pristupom kreće tragom fIREHOSEa, kao i Wattovog najboljeg solo albuma "Contemplating the Engine Room".
Il Sogno del Marinaio su stilski dovoljno različiti da dobivaju usporedbe kako s Black Flag, tako i s King Crimson, pa čak i sa Slint, Tortoise i Gastr del Sol.
