MANU CHAO FIRST TIME IN OSIJEK (Croatia)

 

World music sensation Manu Chao will perform on September 12, 2023. acoustic concert in Osijek near the Catacombs. It is his first concert in Osijek and the only one that will be held in Croatia as part of the European tour.

Manu sings in Spanish Galician, Arabic, Portuguese and Wolof languages, and often mixes them in the same song, a career that lasts almost 40 years is marked by hits such as Mala Vida, Clandestino, Me Gustas Tu, Bongo Bongo and others. is influenced by many styles: punk, rock, salsa, reggae, ska and Algerian rai. These influences come from French immigrants, his Spanish roots, and world traveling. Manu's songs talk about love, life in the ghetto, immigration and are very lifelike. In the repertoire you can expect the listed hits, but also many other songs from the rich career of the French musician of Spanish origin, performed in a slightly different arrangement. Manu is never spared on stage, and given the acoustic version of the concert, as well as the limited number of tickets, you can expect an intimate concert with an unforgettable atmosphere.
