Hugo Race preko 30 godina piše pjesme, svira, producira, putuje i ovaj put se vraća u Zagreb sa Michelangelom Russom u sklopu promocije albuma im "100 Years".
1984. sa 20 godina bio je član Caveovih The Bad Seedsa i kao gitarista sudjelovao u stvaranju legendarnog prvog albuma "From Her To Eternity", a potom i na "Kicking Against The Pricks".
1985. objavljuje EP sa bendom The Wreckery, 1988. izlazi igrani film "Ghosts… of the Civil Dead" gdje uz Huga prve uloge bilježe i Nick Cave te Dave Mason iz The Reelsa.
Hugo 1988. formira True Spirit sa kojima ima sedamnaest albuma, a u međuvremenu je objavljivao i solo + ploče u suradnji s mnogim zanimljivim imenima: DirtMusic (Chris Eckman iz The Walkabouts i Chris Brokaw iz Codeine), Sepiatone (Marta Collica), Hugo Race and Fatalists (Sacri Cuori).
Najnoviji projekt neumornog Australca zove se Hugo Race & Michelangelo Russo. 2017. godine objavili su album "John Lee Hooker’s World Today" za renomiranog amerikana izdavača Glitterhouse Records, a ove godine su izdali novi album "100 Years", te u sklopu promocije stižu i u Vintage Industrial.
