Brojni paraolimpijci, osvajači medalja i sportskih odličja, ulagali su ogroman rad, napore i velika odricanja kako bi danas bili elita svjetskog paraolimpizma. Materijalna podrška često je izostajala. Nerijetko sami, uz pomoć svojih trenera, klubova, prijatelja i obitelji, ustrajali su u ostvarenju svojih ciljeva.

Sav prihod od prodaje bit će namijenjen osiguranju boljih uvjeta za bavljenje sportom, djeci s teškoćama u razvoju i osobama s invaliditetom, ostvarenju što boljih rezultata i podršci za sudjelovanje na natjecanjima. Koncert se održava u okviru obilježavanja 60 godina parasporta u Hrvatskoj. Organizator je Zaklada Paraolimpijac čiji je zadatak da pruža materijalnu podršku svim parasportašima, a posebno djeci i mladima s teškoćama u razvoju, prema sutrašnjici u kojoj će biti motivirani, zadovoljni i uspješni.
