Radnja filma odvija se u Alžiru i Zagrebu, autor filma putuje u najveću Afričku zemlju Alžir te se odlučuje potražiti smještaj preko aplikacije couchsurfing. Kako to obično biva svemir posloži najbolje kockice i spoji ljude koji trebaju biti spojeni. Autor upoznaje glavne protagoniste filma Nassim, Ali i Aissa, provodi sa njima vrijeme upoznajući kulturu, običaje ali i njihove živote.

Oni spremno staju pred kameru i pričaju o raznim temama – couchsurfing, život u Alžiru, običajima, turizmu u njihovoj zemlji i tome da li ugošćavaju žene. Očaran Alžirskim domaćinima i gostoprimstvu autor odlučuje zamijeniti ulogu i biti domaćin na istoimenoj aplikaciji. Ugošćuje Ivu i sa njom radi intervju. Iva je putnik i ima veliko iskustvo kao couchsurfer, otkriva svoja iskustva koja je proživjela kao gost diljem svijeta.

Posebnu čar filma daje činjenica da je materijal sniman bez prethodnih priprema, nitko od glavnih protagonista nije znao pitanja za intervju, radnja se odvijala spontano te nudi zanimljiv kontarast između domaćina i gošće.
